Minimoon to the PNW
Yes, we’ve been married for almost three years now so this post is a little late to the game but it’s been in the drafts and is still a must share! We had such a great time exploring the Pacific North West that we had to throw together a little guide for you all. Thankful for friends who show us the ropes in their cities!! First on our Seattle list was a stop at The London Plane. It was equal parts beautiful and delicious and Megan could have purchased everything in the store. Views from atop Coffee stop #1 was at Elm Coffee Roasters We, of course, then had to…

Santa Rosa / Scribe Winery
Sometimes (most of the time) when we have out of town weddings we turn the trip into a little getaway. It’s the way we usually travel, a little work and a little play. We loved exploring the Santa Rosa area and finally being able to check out Scribe Winery. This was all before they had finished the Hacienda and now we are dying to get back. Have you seen it? It looks incredible! We stopped at some really great little cafes and restaurants during our stay. We loved The Naked Pig! I (megan) will literally never turn down an eggs benni and this adorable little spot did not disappoint. Wisteria…

Afternoon Date at SteelCraft
I came across this place on instagram recently (thanks social media!) and decided to surprise Adam with a date yesterday afternoon in our own hood. SteelCraft is a really cool outdoor eatery in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach with all of the restaurants made of shipping containers. They have everything from ramen to gourmet waffles (banana cream waffles, guys) to hawaiian shaved ice and Smog City Brewing for those of you beer lovers. There is plenty of seating and a little lawn area where you can bring a blanket and do dinner or lunch picnic style. It’s still in it’s soft opening so only a couple of places…

A little San Francisco Getaway
Last fall we had a weekend getaway to one of our favorite places. We arrived in the evening, stopped at our airbnb in the adorable Pacific Heights neighborhood and walked straight to Delfina for a little midnight snack because when you’re on vacation carbs don’t count. We woke up extra early Saturday morning, grabbed an uber and headed straight to our favorite breakfast spot in all of the land, Plow (get there before they open to get a good spot in line. They fill up FAST!) Seriously, if you haven’t been you are really missing out. Get the buttermilk biscuit and honey butter (my mouth is literally watering just typing…

Korakia Palm Springs
After our Joshua Tree adventures were done we decided to spend another night in the desert and make our way to Palm Springs. We arrived in PS and went straight to Arrive (see what I did there?) to check out this newer hotel and have some lunch. The restaurant was great, delicious drinks and lunch and from what we saw it looks like a gorgeous hotel! After lunch we made our way to our hotel, Korakia. I’ve been dying to stay at this gorgeous Moroccan/Mediterranean hotel for quite some time and was so excited to finally see it in all of it’s glory. The grounds are gorgeous, one side is…
